News: The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell Release Date

“And now he’s an author too!”

Author: Chris Colfer

Genre: Fantasy, Adventure, Age: Children’s

Released: 17th July 2012 (UK version)

Glee hasn’t been on my watching list for over a year. I think it was last summer when I stopped watching it, three episodes into the third season. I don’t know what the characters are up to, and maybe I don’t care either.

I’ve always liked Chris Colfer’s character though, and the actor himself seems to be a well rounded person. I knew that he had projects outside his acting career, but it’s still a surprise to find Colfer’s story book.

I have a feeling it’s aimed at children, so it’s not on my reading list. However, I hope that it is successful.

Alex and Conner Bailey’s world is about to change….

Through the mysterious powers of a cherished book of stories, twins Alex and Connor leave their world behind and find themselves in a foreign land full of wonder and magic where they come face-to-face with the fairy tale characters they grew up reading about.

But after a series of encounters with witches, wolves, goblins, and trolls alike, getting back home is going to be harder than they thought.

It’s quite hefty for a children’s story with 448 pages. The RRP is £10.99.
